Two Witnesses

And they will tread the holy city underfoot for  forty-two months.

And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth.”

(Revelation 11:2,3)

Beneath the sacred, time-worn stone, they tread,
For forty-two long months, the city’s breath is dread.
Two witnesses arise with power, fierce and bold,
In sackcloth draped, their prophecy foretold.

One thousand days and more, their voices ring,
Through every shadowed street, their warnings sing.
The holy city weeps, its heart weighed by the night,
As truth and judgment clash in the fading light.
