By these three plagues a third of mankind was killed—by the fire and the smoke and the brimstone which came out of their mouths.
For their power is in their mouth and in their tails; for their tails are like serpents, having heads; and with them they do harm.
(Revelation 9:18-19)
From fiery mouths, the plagues did rise,
A third of mankind met their demise.
Smoke and brimstone filled the air,
As shadows of dread spread everywhere.
Serpent tails with heads did sway,
Their power brought dark dismay.
In judgment’s grasp, the world did reel,
As the plagues’ harsh grip they feel.
