Then I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God. And he cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was granted to harm the earth and the sea, saying, “Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees till we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads.”

From the east, an angel rose, with seal divine,
His voice, a clarion call, to the heavens incline.
To four angels, he spoke, with power unswayed,
“Stay your hands, let not destruction cascade.

For the earth, the sea, the trees, let reprieve be,
Until our God’s servants marked, spirits set free.
With the seal of the Holy Spirit, their guide,
In faith and grace, let them forever abide.”
